Opportunity to support Emmanuel Christian Academy….
Hi Everyone,
I have an exciting opportunity I want to share with you. Before I left I had a couple of mothers approach me about partnering with Emmanuel Christian Academy (ECA). They have a FANSTASIC ministry Art 2 Heart. Here is a little bit of the history of their ministry and what they do. The story of Art 2 Heart is quite simply the story of women who, out of our love for Jesus Christ and our God-given mission to share His love and life-changing Gospel with others, create and sell beaded works of art and donate 100% of the profits to further this mission. As we celebrate our 4th year, we have applied for nonprofit status and hope to receive approval soon so that contributions will be tax deductible. During our first three years, Art 2 Heart “adopted” the Kawelanga Village in Zambia, Africa through World Vision and was blessed to participate in this village’s transformation.
Now they would like to work with ECA! One way they will be helping will include sponsoring children to come to ECA. We are a staff school for staff of our bible college- Emmanuel Christian Training Center. There are still many families that have up to five children and will have a difficult time paying school fees for these children. Art 2 Heart wants to help provide financial support for these children to attend school.
How can you help? Well, Art 2 Heart is having an open house to sell some of the bead work they have made with proceeds going to ECA and other mission’s organizations. They have even had help from the 5th graders at Heritage Christian Academy in Maple Grove, MN. The open house will be on NOVEMBER 22, 2009 from 10a.m.-3p.m. at the old teller window area of the Farmers Bank of Hamel, MN. The address is 145 Hamel Rd, Hamel, MN. This is a great way to help missions overseas and to get some GREAT Christmas gifts. If you have any questions please let me know.
